The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a compulsory document within the Home Information Pack. It provides the energy efficiency rating of a property which is presented graphically on a scale from A-G, where A is the most efficient. The EPC also depicts the environmental impact of a building in terms of its' CO2 emissions .The EPC provides recommendations as to how the property may be improved to increase its' energy efficiency and how much these improvements can save you - up to £300 per year!

This information is analysed by a computer system and the EPC is produced.
